INNOVATIVE EDUCATOR
A zealous advocate of continual training, John recognized early in his career the importance of training other stylists to develop their haircutting skills. With a business philosophy built on teamwork, he started by educating his own staff when he opened his New York salon in 1976.
Over the years, John Atchison has earned an international reputation as a leading hairstylist and educator. Working with the solid foundation acquired at Vidal Sassoon's in New York and London, he became a master at the craft of haircutting and styling, dedicating himself to the development of the John Atchison Method of precision haircutting for all textures of hair until he perfected the technique.
With the demand for his service, Mr. Atchison was compelled to open a second salon in Los Angeles to become "hairstylist to the stars," and created signature coiffures for some of the most visible faces in the country. To dedicate himself to educating other stylists, John presently operates only in the New York venue. He is sought after to teach at all the major hair shows nationwide because of the excellent reputation that he has built up over 25 years as a creative and distinguished entrepreneur.
TRAINING CENTER

His concept has elevated precision haircutting to the forefront of the hair care industry.
